I have recently graduated as a M.I.T.A.S. engineer (Maersk International Technology & Science Programme) after two years with Maersk Container Industry AS. The programme emphasises learning through job rotation. In my first rotation I was responsible for the new working area, technical sales, where I supported the Sales Department on technical areas and had a coordinating function within the Technical Department at our head office in Denmark. Then I joined our production management team in Qingdao, China working with production flow and optimization. I recently finished my last rotation in our Technical Department as part of a cost optimisation project and have just started up my new position within Business Development.
A position as M.I.T.A.S. engineer at Maersk Container Industry AS has ensured me a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same. I engage in projects with both technical as well as commercial aspects, exploiting all areas of my theoretical background.
